Outstanding in our Fieldays
From June 10 – 13 we were at the Southern Hemisphere’s largest agricultural event – Fieldays at Mystery Creek in Hamilton, New Zealand.
The four-day mega event drew record crowds and over 1,200 exhibitors, with the latest machinery, technology and innovation on display across the 114-hectare site. It’s always a buzz being part of an event of this scale, and a great chance to see how the industry is evolving on the ground.
We had a range of attachments on show, with screening buckets, hammers, shears, pulverisers, grabs and grapples all drawing plenty of attention.
The Malaguti compactor proved particularly popular, as did the Eagle steel shears, with steady interest from contractors assessing the demolition and recycling strengths of the latter.

“It’s always helpful being able to talk to the crowds at these big events,” said Earthworm’s Jerry McLean. “It’s valuable hearing from both present and future customers, especially when it comes to understanding what they see is happening on site – and what they see in their futures.”
“For all the research into equipment and fact-finding travel we do, sometimes there’s nothing better than getting it straight from the source.”
